Follow-up · sales reminder
A follow-up is a recontact of a prospect who has not replied or of a quote left without a next step. Automated and scheduled, follow-ups recover deals that would otherwise be lost through simple oversight.
A concrete example
Example
A quote sent with no reply triggers a follow-up at day 2, then day 7, then day 15, by email or phone, until a decision is reached.
Why it matters
A large share of sales happen after several follow-ups, which few companies do for lack of time or tracking. The speed of the first follow-up, above all, weighs heavily on the close rate.
